Petit Budbud's windowsill seedlings -10

Baby chives.

Michelle's basil.

Lonely rosemary.

Munchkin broccoli.

Supermarket sweet pepper seedling.

More seedlings

Two week old long and lanky chives.

One week old bunching onions that resemble chives.

Five week old rosemary ( '3' ) look at the true leaves that resemble fish lips.

On a sadder note, the frail mint seeds are not germinating at all. I placed the few seeds that didn't crumble between my clumsy fingers in a peat pellet hoping that luck will find its way to my windowsill.

Rosemary propagation

I didn't have much luck propagating or growing rosemary from seed last year. Hopefully this pink, powdery formula helps.

If all goes well, these two woody looking rosemary cuttings will one day form giant "poofball" hedges.

Here's the only (out of 7) rosemary seedling that germinated.

Tomato seedlings are doing well. Hope it's not too late in the year for them to form fruits by the end of the summer

What in the world is that? Mould? Maybe dust or some sort of infection?! Whatever it is, this is not good

Look at the teeny tiny berries forming in the centre. Side note: I'll be growing strawberries for the rest of my life. They're easy to maintain and are as pretty as "real" flowers - what perfect edible plants! I wonder if I can use the leaves for tea

Gardening updates

It's like a jungle in there

Repotted some of the seedlings to free up some room. I'm thrilled that they're growing the way they should, not all tall and leggy like the previous batches

Repotted giant pepper plant. It took an entire afternoon to repot half a dozen plants! Am I slow or is it a long, tedious process that will one day take a toll on my back?

Repotted the rosemary plant in a pretty pot that my Grandma found hiding in the garage

The shoe-slipper area has now become an indoor vegetable garden in preparation for the upcoming storm. As long as the vegetables don't smell like feet, I'm happy with the new arrangements : )

Garden update

Hate repotting plants. It's a long, tedious process and there's always a chance that my babies won't like the move

Great way to weed out the duds. From top to bottom: spinach, bell pepper, eggplant and rosemary seeds

Really should have dumped these leggy guys in the backyard. They absolutely hate living in my house XD

After a week, one out of the six spinaches has finally popped out!

After a week and a half, one out of twelve (ugh!) rosemary seeds decided to enter this world. This brave little dude deserves a special "steart"

Tiny pepper plant is ashamed of itself
