What's for dinner tonight?Tomatoes and a lonely cucumber from my yard and peppers from my Uncle's garden
Cucumber plants are prickly like a cactus and grow like they are on steroids
The bush beans are not happy about the tomatoes pushing them onto the lawn

This little 12 week old guy fell to the ground a wee bit too early

Bad news: I had to remove the lovely bird feeders. The birds were not a problem, but what came with them were like the rabbits and a family of mice that destroyed a portion of my vegetables, and an absolutely horrid odour courtesy of the overwhelming wet feces that undulated the fence area where the feeders were located.
They were quite popular, having to refill both feeders every two or three days.
Had a lovely time bird watching : ) got to see a number of birds in my area including American goldfinches, cardinals, red-winged blackbirds, house sparrows, American robins, mourning doves, and these brown birds (pictured above) that were quite vicious and always managed to keep the bigger birds at bay. Poor bigger birds always had to wait for their meal

It's so cute and fluffy! If only you were harmless, I'd totally let you roam around my yard

Fewer than a dozen 15 week old Beefsteak tomatoes have appeared

Only a few out of a dozen carrots that grew turned out okay looking
The other ones were.. hmm.. pretty grotesque looking
